London (Ptess release) Free Balochistan Movement, in its statement has strongly condemned the Iranian armed forces for killing the peaceful protesting Baloch people in Iranian-occupied Balochistan, saying that Iran had occupied Balochistan by force in 1928, since then it never relented its efforts for oppressing Baloch nation, even to the limit of genocide. In order to deprive Baloch nation of its national identity, restrictions were placed on the culture, language and collective thinking of the Baloch people and contained Baloch nation in various oppressive ways. The Persian dominated rulers of Iran accelerated Baloch genocide even after its so called religious revolution. On the one hand, Baloch youths are being hanged on baseless charges; on the other, Iran is now seeking to erase the name of Balochistan, even after dissecting many of its districts and annexing them with its other provinces.
Pursuing its coercive and violent method of subjugation and persecution, an Iranian police officer arrested and raped a 15 years minor Baloch girl a few days ago in the name of investigation. Protests were erupted against this heinous and ugly act throughout Occupied Balochistan, which is a natural reaction of a cultural society that has been forced to live in a stifling environment for years!
In order to suppress peaceful protest of Baloch people, the Iranian occupying forces opened fire on unarmed Baloch protesters, which reportedly killed more than three dozen people and hundreds got injured.
The Free Balochistan Movement wants to make it clear to both the occupying countries, Iran and Pakistan, that the Baloch nation will not retreat an inch from its struggle for national liberation, no matter how much oppression the two enemy countries inflict upon the Baloch. History is a witness to the fact that the oppression and tyranny of the occupiers cannot last for long. Today, the people of Iranian-occupied Balochistan have risen up against this oppression, which is an encouraging act.
Free Balochistan Movement continues to raise the voice of oppressed Baloch nation in Iran and Pakistan for liberty to every corner of the world.
The Free Balochistan Movement has further said in its statement that the change of the Iranian regime is not a solution to the problems of oppressed nations. Iran has occupied the lands of non-Persian nations, including Baluchistan, Kurdistan, and Al-Ahwaz, and as long as Iran continues to occupy their lands, the problems here will not be solved, but will be temporarily suppressed. The problem of Baloch nation is not an administrative problem; in fact it is a problem of national slavery.
