The Free Balochistan Movement in its statement that Pakistan has turned Balochistan into a prison camp with its tyranny, cruelty and brutality where Baloch youth, women, children and people from all walks of life are picked up and transferred from this priosn camp to Torture Cells and subjected to brutal and inhuman torture. The spokesman said that since the year 2000 ,more than 20,000 Baloch have been enduring the atrocities of the occupying Pakistani brutal and ruthless army in these torture chambers and mutilated bodies of more than 10,000 Baloch have been dumped on road side and deserted areas by the Army so far. The statement further said that in the 21st century, the Pakistani army is inflicting the same atrocities on the Baloch people that eight century ago, Genghis Khan, Hulagu Khan were inflicting on the Ordinary people .But since the Geneva Conventions and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, no occupier has been granted such concessions and exemptions to such an extent that they have violated the established laws of the world, to the point of collective punishment, but Pakistan, which has ratified international law is violating human rights in Balochistan the way as she has been exempted from international laws.
The spokesperson said,
on the one hand, Russia, like Pakistan, has invaded Ukraine and forcibly entered it. In response, the whole Western world has passed various resolutions against it, ranging from economic sanctions to supporting Ukraine militarly and logistically but on the other hand why are the same institutions silent on the similar brutality and tranny of Pakistan in occupied Balochistan? Does Pakistan have a licence for oppression in Balochistan? Or is it that Baloch people are not considered human and dont fall in the same cateogory as lpeople of Ukraine, Kosovo, Eritrea, South Sudan, Bosnia and East Timor therfore the world is silent on human rights violations against Baloch?
