Vancouver 21 August – Free Balochistan Movement organised a protest outside the Chinese Embassy in Vancouver Canada. This demonstration is part of FBM’s ongoing vigils and protests aiming to highlight the severe human rights violations in Balochistan and emphasize the collaborative roles of China, Iran, and Pakistan in occupied Balochistan.
Begining at 12:00 PM outside the Chinese embassy, FBM activists informed the Canadian public about the troika and China’s cooperation with Pakistan and Iran against the Baloch people. Baloch activists waving Ballochistan flags and displaying banners the vigil lasted for four hours in front of the embassy.
This series of vigils was announced by the president and leader of the Free Balochistan Movement, Hyrbyair Marri, in a statement addressing the troika’s purported consultation on counter-terrorism and regional security.
In his statement, Mr. Marri asserted that the trilateral meeting among these nations has no genuine connection to regional security or counter-terrorism. Instead, its primary focus is on Balochistan and strategies to terrorize the Baloch people. “We view this assembly of the ‘axis of evil’ as a direct threat to the Baloch nation and the future of Balochistan,” he remarked. He further elaborated on how China, with its communist and imperialist orientations, has formed an alliance with the two pseudo-Islamic republics occupying Eastern and Western Balochistan to advance its Belt and Road initiatives.
Canada is the fourth country where FBM is holding vigils, aiming to enlighten the western world about the troika’s conspiratorial actions in occupied Balochistan, committing genocide against the Baloch people, and terrorizing the Baloch nation.
