Free Balochistan Movement announces schedule for International Protests and Seminars to Highlight Baloch Genocide by Iran and Pakistan
Share

Free Balochistan Movement will organise a series of protests and seminars outside Iranian Embassies in various Western nations. These events aim to spotlight the genocide of the Baloch people and the atrocities both Iran and Pakistan have inflicted upon the Baloch nation.

Hyrbyair Marri, the Baloch leader and president of the Free Balochistan Movement, announced these events in a press statement last week. He stated that over the last two decades, “Iran and Pakistan have once again commenced the genocide of the Baloch. Previously, these countries labeled the Baloch as communists and used it as a pretext for their killings. Now, these two pseudo Islamic states have allied with Communist China and label the Baloch as terrorists to justify their actions.”

It’s noteworthy that on September 30, 2022, Iranian authorities targeted peaceful Baloch protesters in Zahedan, resulting in the death of dozens when forces opened fire on unarmed individuals.

The Baloch nation has been enduring genocide and mass executions by Iran and Pakistan since the occupation and subsequent division of Balochistan in 1928 and 1948, respectively. Since those pivotal moments, both the occupying states have executed joint and individual operations in occupied Balochistan with the intent of suppressing and eliminating the Baloch people. The combined operation orchestrated by Pakistan and Iran in 1974 in the Chamalang area of Pakistani-occupied Balochistan exemplifies this collaboration. Notably, Pakistan has been inflicting genocide upon the Baloch since 1948, with incidents like the Dera Bugti massacre in 2005 and the discovery of mass graves in Khuzdar in 2014 serving as stark examples. Concurrently, Iran has persistently been involved in the mass execution of Baloch people, committing numerous cold-blooded murders in Iranian-occupied Balochistan since 1928.

Through these seminars and protests, the Free Balochistan Movement aims to highlight the genocide endured by the Baloch and to raise awareness within the international community about the challenges faced by the Baloch and the atrocities inflicted by Iran and Pakistan in occupied Balochistan

Scheduled Protests and Seminars:

  • Hamburg, Germany: September 23
  • The Hague, Netherlands: September 23
  • Webinar in the USA: September 24
  • Helsinki, Finland: September 24
  • Seminar in the UK: September 30

Additionally, on September 30, FBM will launch a Twitter campaign to emphasize the tragic Baloch massacre in Zahedan by Iranian forces the previous year. This campaign will also shed light on the Baloch genocide, touching upon topics like the mass executions of Babo Nauroz Khan’s sons and acquaintances, the Chamalang massacre by Iran and Pakistan in Pakistani-occupied Balochistan, the Dera Bugti incidents, the uncovering of mass graves in Khuzdar Balochistan, and the rampant executions of Baloch people in Iranian-occupied Balochistan.
