Berlin, 18 August – Free Balochistan Movement held a demonstration outside the Chinese Embassy in Berlin, the capital of Germany here today.
This protest forms a part of FBM’s continuous efforts to highlight the grave human rights violations in Balochistan and to underscore the collective actions of China, Iran, and Pakistan in occupied Balochistan.
The protest commenced at 2:00 PM outside the Chinese embassy in Berlin. FBM activists expressed their anger against the troika and criticized China’s ties with Pakistan and Iran in occupied Balochistan. Displaying Balochistan flags and raising banners, FBM launched its overnight vigil outside the embassy. This vigil is expected to continue until tomorrow afternoon, culminating in a final protest.
The series of vigils announced by the leader and president of FBM, Hyrbyair Marri, who issued a press statment two weeks ago and rebuked troika’s so called consultations meeting on counter-terrorism and regional stability and termed it as “Axis of evils”
It’s noteworthy that FBM has successfully organized analogous vigils in Finland on 12th August, followed by one at the Chinese embassy in The Hague from 16-17 August. The UK vigil, started yesterday afternoon outside the Chinese embassy in London, and concluded today with animated protests and spirited chants. The, demonstrators called for China to withdraw from Balochistan.
The vigil in Germany is set to conclude in a similar manner with a protest tomorrow, running from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
