AMSTERDAM: The Free Balochistan Movement Netherlands branch held a peaceful demonstration in front of the Parliament in The Hague on 27 March on the completion of 75 years of Pakistani occupation of Balochistan.

Speaking at the demonstration, the speakers said that both Iran and Pakistan are involved in the Baloch genocide with full aggression in Balochistan but the Baloch people are determined to resist both occupiers on every front.

The speakers said, “we must make plans to rid ourselves of the occupiers at the earliest opportunity as there is no good and bad oppressor. The occupying forces are involved in the genocide of our people in our motherland. It is a deviation from the basic conception of Balochistan’s unity and independence to think otherwise about the oppressor and occupiers of Baloch land.”

They said that Pakistan’s occupation of Balochistan has completed seventy-five years today. Like in the past, this year also 27 March has been remembered as a black day all over the world, where Baloch political power exists, and accordingly, the Free Balochistan Movement Netherlands branch has also organised a program to highlight the oppression and tyranny of the occupiers and forcible occupation of Balochistan.

The protesters said that they wanted to make it clear to the world that on March 27, 1948, Pakistan illegally occupied Balochistan and forcibly annexed it. “We expect the world to support our struggle for freedom of Balochistan. Like other free nations, the Baloch nation also has the right to be free and independent.”

The political activists participating in the program carried placards and banners with slogans against the occupation of Balochistan by Iran and Pakistan and the sabotage of its unity.

It is pertinent to remember that in 1948 Pakistan, with help of the world’s notorious imperialism forces, illegally occupied the Baloch land after seven months of its creation. While Iran had already occupied the Western part of Balochistan in 1928.
