The Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) announces that a new cabinet was elected on 26 February 2026 following the completion of the term of the previous cabinet. The new cabinet was elected with the approval of the National Council of the party.

The President of the party presented the proposed list of cabinet members before the National Council. A series of meetings were held over several days between the potential cabinet members, the President, and the National Council. During these meetings, each potential cabinet member presented their plans and proposed projects to the National Council.

After thorough discussions and evaluations, the members of the National Council cast their votes of approval and disapproval. The candidates who received a majority of approval votes were elected to the cabinet and assigned the following positions:

* Razzaq Baloch – Head of the Foreign Department
* Rasheed Baloch (alias Shoresh Baloch) – Head of the Information Department
* Sadiq Raheesani – Head of Tribal Affairs
* Mola Bakhsh Marri – Head of the Finance Department
* Ishfaque Baloch – Head of the International Department

Furthermore, Faiz Marri and Hashum Baloch were appointed by the President as cabinet members without portfolio.

The positions of Head of the External Department and Head of the Home Department remain vacant and will be filled soon with the consent of the National Council. Until these positions are filled, the responsibilities of the External Department have been provisionally delegated to Razzaq Baloch, while the responsibilities of the Home Department will be exercised by the President.

The newly elected cabinet members took the oath of office on 2 March 2026.
